This award is presented each year to the outstanding science teacher from a participating school.
Established in 2000 this award consists of a traveling trophy, a marble plaque, and a cash award. It is presented to a participating Washington State Science and Engineering Fair teacher who:
Nomination can be made by a science student, science student parent, a principal, department head, or peer. The nomination packet should include letters of endorsement, and a teaching biography/resume.
Packets are due to the Science Teacher of the Year Selection Committee no later than March 15th, 2013.
The selection committee is a group composed of WSSEF Board members, science teachers/professors/professionals.
